Announcement from Word of Life Local Church Ministries:

The NBA lockout is making the start of their season tentative. The last two weeks of the preseason was canceled yesterday and the first two weeks of the regular season are questionable. We have focused on November 18 for the Word of Life Superbowl in Philadelphia, hoping the situation would be resolved, but the NBA has not settled nor does it seem promising at this point. We have seriously considered alternatives, but we are concerned that alternatives would likely create a whole new set of challenges for your youth ministry. For the sake of helping you plan, we are shifting the November 18 Philadelphia Superbowl to November 11 Hershey, PA Superbowl with the Hershey Bears AHL hockey team for this year.

The Wells Fargo, the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers, bowling centers and the like,  are very disappointed that you are not able to come this year. They and us want you to plan on November 16, 2012 in Philadelphia. There shouldn’t be a NBA Lockout in 2012.
